Psalm 96 is a song calling for all nations to Praise the Lord as the only true God and to proclaim the glory of His reign throughout the world. It was he world mission of the Old Testament, for the Israelites, to spread the word that there is only one true God.
We who follow Jesus are the new wineskins and his new covenant (his shed blood) is the new wine. (Matthew 9:17)
