What kind of love does it take to sacrifice your one and only Son who has never sinned or could ever sin? What kind of love does it take to sacrifice your son for a creation that you made in your image that has rejected you? A humanity that doesn’t believe that you are real, nor do they believe you are to be worshipped or honored as the one true God. How does that God create a plan that requires His son to sacrifice himself in order to save humanity…?
In today’s scripture, we are going to look at one of Jesus disciples named Thomas who had lived and traveled with Jesus for 3 ½ years. But now that Jesus is crucified, Thomas seems to be angry and confused by God’s plan. Ever been there. Have you tried to follow Jesus only to have everything fall apart?
