Message of HOPE
Today marks the beginning of the Advent Season, the season leading up to the birth of Jesus. Immanuel God with us. Jesus is our hope for a redeemer, our salvation, our hope for forgiveness.
Hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised will happen. For 4000 years prior to Jesus’ birth there had been prophesies promising the arrival of a Messiah (the promised deliverer or savior of the Jewish nation). That’s the ultimate expression of Hope. Waiting for God to send a deliverer every year for thousands of years.
