DESCRIPTION

Read John 12:20-36

Hosanna in original Hebrew means “Save me now” or “Lord please save me” It also has a meaning of “salvation, thank you” or “thank you for my salvation.” Hosanna has transitioned over the years into having two uses for the word. First one is us pleading with God to “SAVE US.” And the Second meaning is us showing gratitude for what he has done in saving us or giving us salvation.

Each of us have hurts. Sin’s destruction in our lives haunts all of us and we all have hurts. All of our hurts are different and as God saves us from those hurts we become living testimonies of what God can do, bringing glory to God and the opportunity for healing for others. It’s another beautiful picture of the body of Christ living out our love for God and our love for each other.

We all need Hosanna. We all need to be saved. How do we handle the injustice and hurt and the pain of feeling unloved?
